CBD
CBD (or cannabidiol) is the first FDA-approved cannabis-derived medicine. It is utilized to help conditions such as insomnia, stress, anxiety, chronic pain, inflammation, and certain forms of addiction. Unlike THC, CBD does not produce any psychoactive effects on the body because it does not bind to the CB1 receptor in the brain due to its molecular structure. CBD is used by many as a daily tool to reduce anxiety and pain and many use it for sleep-aid. It can be consumed in a variety of ways.
CBD OIL
Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants, along with tetrahydrocannabinol, and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract.
CBD FOR PETS
CBD has shown benefit for animals in a range of conditions including, but not limited to, inflammatory problems, seizures, pain relief, and anxiety. Using CBD for pet health problems is based on the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS). The goal of the ECS is to achieve and maintain balance of all processes in the body.
